Tailwind’s partner Temenos hosted an insightful virtual developer conference for the fintech industry. Sustainability and inclusivity were the focus at this year’s conference, with two full days of informative and energetic virtual talks and demonstrations. We’re honored to have been a silver sponsor of the Temenos SCALE 2021 conference and contributed to such a powerful global community event!
For those that do not know, Temenos is a banking platform used by more than 3,000 banks and financial institutions.
Highlights from the conference included numerous speakers in over 40 live sessions from the banking industry. With other sponsors like Syncordis, Red Hat, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, Microsoft, and Formpipe, we were in good company.
A Conference That Gives Back
Not only was this a comprehensive #fintech conference, but it also had a remarkable virtual green initiative. Every person who attended was eligible to adopt a tree in their name! The goal was to plant 35,000 trees in Tamil Nadu and Telangana, India made possible through a collaboration with the non-profit Grow-Trees. This initiative supports the Temenos commitment to the environment.
Driving Innovation Through Conversation
With all the wonderful topics discussed in these sessions, the Tailwind team felt energized with motivation to provide the most innovative service to our own customers. Some of the topics discussed included: intellectual property and security, a cashless future, artificial intelligence, integrating carbon trackers into banking apps, and best practice accessibility standards.
Though it might sound boring, it was quite the opposite. These discussions open doors for new ideas and innovation within the Fintech industry. We are impatiently waiting to see what will evolve within the fintech community until next year.
